ERslave, I live around Senatobia & work at Methodist in Memphis. Nice to meet you!:)

I actually have an interview with Trudy (something) at Methodist on Thursday. I hear Methodist has real live "insurance-paying pts. **********wow!!!*************************. Ive been looking for a change the last few weeks. You know you've been at the MED toooo long when pts threats of bodily harm dont bother you at all. We have an "inside" joke where I work - about threatening to tell all the pts sitting in the er waiting room that at the Methodist Er you dont have to wait to be seen. And its just right around the block. How long have you been at Methodist.? What do you think about the management there. Despite the Meds drawbacks - they have the best management of any hospital group Ive worked for. They really do make you feel appreciated.

The management is getting better. Out with the bad, in with the good. As for not having to wait in the ER:confused: I didn't know of a single hospital anywhere (except maybe in Senatobia) where the pts didn't have to wait! :roll
