Tweety that is awfully warm for March

Ado the weather here has been the same, 60s at the start of yesterday 40s by the end

Stars is good news, glad the dentures will be taken care of

Hi abbnurse

Dianah sorry to hear about your friend, you're right even if you're expecting it it's never easy

Work was pretty good, had to spend some time on the side project but no new cases and no meetings.  After work got the grocery shopping done before the storms arrived and exercised

Got some hail early on, thankfully nothing major.  Though with more storms expected overnight I decided to drape the car in old blankets in case there was any more and larger hail.  Though now I'll have to wash and dry them

Today up early to take the car in to get new tires.  Should be nothing unusual going on at work.

Much colder today, low 40s with snow possible

I didn't think the time change was affecting me, but realized it REALLY is! I used to turn out my light around 2 AM, and now it is 3 AM, and then when I wake up it is later than usual, and I am still feeling so sleepy. UGH! I suppose I ought to try "getting with the program" somehow. I will consciously TRY to go to sleep earlier, but I'm not sure how that will work out. I do know that in the evening I am so surprised how 'early' it suddenly becomes 9 or 10 PM, it is discouraging. I don't care which time they decide to 'keep', but it should be one or the other and not both! You would think that now that I am retired it would be easier to adjust, but NOPE! IT AIN'T!

It is 1:15 PM and I SHOULD get up and get dressed and move around. My knees felt like bowling balls when I got out of bed. They don't APPEAR swollen, but they just feel that way.

Don't have anything urgent or even helpful on my to-do list today, so maybe it's going to be a real NUTHIN' of a day. It's going to be 85 degrees or more, and the only thing I need to take care of is walking Tinker several times. Maybe I will find a movie to watch or something that requires no thought or action.

SUBSTANTIAL CONTENT WARNING:

Last night/this morning at 3:45 AM, the bragging I have done about my bowels being straightened out, came back and bit me, so to speak. It is 20 steps from my bed to the commode, and as I walked there, 'someone' opened the rapid-egress point, and there was no stopping it; it poured down my legs and into my slippers. So I actually DO have something to do today after all! I took two more lomotil this AM just-in-case, and I am doing that laundry TWICE!

Sorry, but I did warn you!

Joe, I'm glad you didn't have hail damage. We had storms and it was pretty noisy for a bit but nothing serious.

dianah, I'm sorry about your friend.

Stars, I'm sorry about your increased workload today ?. Truly.

Twin B and his dad blew up at each other last night and Twin B stormed out. But where was he going to go?  He came back in after a few minutes as the storm was ratcheting up.

I spent the morning at the demo garden, pruning roses, greeting fellow gardeners and park visitors. It was lightly raining, so I kept working, and was quite damp when I got home. Ate a pb&j, put on dry clothes, then off to the landscape design class. We are just learning how to draw plans, with a scale ruler, and a T square. I always wished I could have taken drafting in high school. Now I am home again for an hour or so, then youngest grandson has a school concert tonight.
We generally don't get big hail stones here, which I'm glad of.

Wellllll.....SiL just called me to tell me "we" have an appointment at Nannie's facility on Monday the 16th to talk with the PT and discharge planner about ....seeing if Nannie can come home ???

SiL said ,"We have to go in there and be real positive about her coming home. She can walk good with her walker, so I think she'll do good." (I said to myself, ?Uh-huh, YUH, RIGHT!) I have a song running through my head: "The party's over...."

I don't know that we will be bringing her home that day, but I certainly hope not!!  So I have 5 days to brace myself for the upcoming squelching of my life again. I haven't seen Nannie since the ambulance took her away after she fell. It has spoiled me to be able to come and go, do and don't, and whatever I felt like, to suit me.

Jehospophats! Crap! PHOOEY!

Oooooooh well. I'll have to treasure the next 5 days. Time to myself was good while it lasted. *sigh*
