Tweety hope your next shift is less stressful

Dianah glad the cellulitis continues to improve

NJ22 hope things stay relatively cool there

Work was good yesterday, no new cases, nothing unexpected. Was able to attend a meeting and get an online CEU done for one of my licenses. After work did the grocery shopping and stopped by the library and exercised

Today hopefully will be another quiet day at work, no meetings today but have to work on the side project. Nothing planned after work either except for exercise

Will be considerably cooler today, in the mid 70s, air quality remains good

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a good day.

Connecting and dealing with IV tubing and crawling under a sink to make repairs are not similar skill sets in my opinion. I would have to hire a plumber. But then again, I'm the least handy there is. I hired people to do easy things that if I were so inclined I could do myself.

My away from work skillset is in the kitchen, just don't ask me to bake anything. I will be cooking stuff to meal prep the next couple of days, so I don't stop and get chicken fingers.

I sent off some information to my financial advisor on my current status, goals and concerns. We have an in person meeting next week. We could do Zoom and not sure what she prefers but I prefer in person. My main concerns are inflation and the high cost of insurance here and what my healthcare costs will be as I will be paying myself for medicare and a supplement.

Overall, even though I'm a late bloomer I have to give myself credit for doing okay for a nurse that's single. I've always said that I won't retire young or rich, but I might be okay and middle class still.

I'M BAAAAACCCKKKKKK!!😄

Happy Birthday to me (77th) today! And being able to get back online is the best present!

I got help from my friend's niece; I shut down and rebooted the laptop, got back on the WiFi network here, and changed my password and now my laptop is behaving like SUM-BUDDY!

I have to go back and look at all the daily entries since 7/14, which is when I last posted, so I can catch up with y'all's doin's. And catch you up on mine. But I have reduced the inbox from 198 emails so far to around 100, so I still have a lot of deleting to do.

AND, I have actually been STREAMING a show, The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix, which is how I have been occupying my evenings when I could not receive or post emails. First season was a humdinger!

I don't want to leave a three-hundred page post tonight, so I will be back tomorrow and feed it to y'all in dribs and drabs, so you don't wish I had kept off line for a little longer! 🤭😄🙃

🫠It was 101 degrees today. My hair, from all the humidity, has taken on a frizz from all the little white hairs, but not the dark brown ones. To me, it looks totally different, but there isn't a heck of a lot I can do about it, and nobody here knows what it is S'POSTA look like so WTH! But all the sweating is like being in a sauna and my complexion is starting to look better, so there's always that.....

More at another time!
