Wake Tech Spring 2021

Hi guys,

I want to apply to Wake Tech Spring 2021 nursing program (Raleigh, NC). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have not been able to register to take the TEAS because the school is closed. Does anyone know when Wake Tech will open, so we can take TEAS test before the deadline of July 31, 2020?

Oh WOW!, that is a large range! I’m meeting with an advisor Monday so hopefully she will be able to give me some direction/advice on what to do. I’m sure both of y’all will be accepted though! You both have a good amount of points!

Do y’all know if they have a set cutoff as far as points go for selecting alternates? I just started taking the science pre reqs this Summer and have done better than I expected, I took BIO 168 5 years ago and did horrible in it, the amount of information and style of studying needed for that content has always been a challenge for me.

It varies every semester. I'm happy to hear that you're doing good in your science pre reqs!

Thank you!

Does anyone know how classs will be with Covid going on ? Will classes be on campus, online or both ?

Hey!

I wonder when we will hear back from the school. I'm sure the process has changed from previous years due to covid. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long. (Well, either way is fine LOL)

Good luck everyone!!

Becca

Is the TEAS test hard ? What do you recommend to study ? And how did y’all study to get a good grade ? I am applying to the Spring 2021 for nursing so far I have 148 points without the TEAS & I am so nervous ?

Hi Nancy!

Study enough, and you'll do great! For the Math section, I recommend Brandon Craft Youtube channel; Anatomy and Physiology Crash course on Youtube for science section, and Carolyn McAllister for reading and language section. Also, make sure you join the TEAS Study Group on facebook; there are a lot of great resources here too! Good luck!!
