Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Yaaaay!! Congrats!! Does that mean that there are 71 seats filled??? I have hopes that they will up more seats but it worries me a little. I'm alternate #10 now I think. I guess I'm just nervous bc like some of you, this is the ONLY nursing school I applied to. All this waiting is torture BUT, I'm going to wait it out these 2 months and pray it all works out.

I am 11 now í ½í¸Ší ½í¸Ší ½í¸Ší ½í¸Ší ½í¸Š laila34 I am on the same boat as you! I thought I would be accepted so didn't have a back up plan! Now I am stuck in this limbobof not knowing if I should give my notice at work or stay or what :/ I'm hoping we get a call soon!!!!

Hey everyone! To those that have gotten accepted so far, what is the class schedule looking like for the spring? More importantly I am wondering what other classes (other than Nur 111) are we taking :)

Here is what my schedule card looks like:

Monday: class 8-12

Tues: lab 8-12

Wed: Lab 8-12 (1st 8 weeks)/ Data at hospital (2nd 8 weeks)

Thurs: clinical 9-12 (1st 8 weeks)/ clinical 6:45-12:45 (2nd 8 weeks)

Friday: testing/clinical (changes each week but usually a test or clinical from what I can tell

So, we are only taking NUR 111 but it is divided into class, lab and clinical:)

So we only have 8 credit hours for the semester? How does that work with financial aid since it's not full time? I hope we hear for BW soon!!!

Hey girls! Any new news? I'm alternate 9 now. I just checked webadvisor and so far 40 people have registered for NUR 111. There are 18 in section 4301 and 22 in section 4302. I thought they would be almost full by now considering registration started Nov14th. Maybe students are rethinking their acceptance (I sure hope so..bye bye boo boo) LOL!!!!!! Anyway, I noticed that they added 1 seat which now makes a total of 96 seats. This waiting is tiresome and getting kind of old bc I have decisions to make based on this outcome. Can't make life choices in the midst of the unknowing. I hope that we get that call before Thanksgiving *fingers crossed* Let the waiting resume

Laila34 i contacted Beth a couple days ago and no updates ( i was still #11). I cant believe how many spots are available, we better get our call soon!!!

Also, Has everyone finished the verified credentials requirements??

Pdlf, CNA...yes, there are a lot of seats! If I were already accepted, I would've registered at 12:01am that night..no time wasted...haha! As far as the verified credentials, yes I'm technically done. The only thing that I can't complete is the 3rd dose of HEP B. I can't get that until Spring 2017. How about you??

Congrats to everyone!! I have a question. I just dropped my bio 169. I have some family issues that need to be priority. Anyway, my plan was to apply in Jan. If I can retake the teas and get 12 points I will have 152 points. Do you think it's a waste of time to apply and see what happens? Thanks for your advice

I am technically done as well, the only thing is my insurance! i signed up for one but don't have a policy number as of now since it starts on 1/1/17 but BS said that should be fine as long as they see that I purchased one. R u going to the review on 11/28?
