Wake Tech Fall 2020

SLS/SIMS was less on amazon by like I think $60. The only one that wasn’t significantly less was the Davis drug guide. I think I only saved like $2 by buying that on amazon. Pearson’s books best price was from their website that I found.

did anyone (not transferring med records from CNA program at wake tech) had to upload their titer results to castle branch? If yes , in what format? I got mine done at Duke , and the only thing I can print out off of my chart is just my value vs lab value and the physician’s name, is it something they will take? An advisor is not responding yet(

Hey guys , does anyone know if we are supposed to round mc and mcg in problems with calculating safe dose range etc? Like if I get the answer of 58.6 mcg/day, do I record it as is or as 59 mcg/day?

I don’t see this in wake tech rounding rules.

Has anyone been accepted off of the waitlist? If so, how many points did you have?

I think (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) mentioned the nearest tenths. Also, make it whole number with units like insulin, lb, and IV Drip.

As of last week I believe, they said no one has been accepted off the alternate list as no one who was accepted has declined their entrance into the program. They said if they can secure more clinical spots, slots may open up but no one at this time has moved up from the alternates.

Did anyone else get an email from the bookstore that says nursing scrubs? I got an email, but there doesn’t seem to be any content in the email other than the bookstore information. Was wondering if anyone else got it, and it had more than that in it?

I got it too. I’m assuming it’s a generalized email to say our order is in LOL. I agree that it could have been a little more descriptive but I might call the bookstore next week to make sure.

Yeah I wasn’t sure if the nearest tenths applies to this case, I know it’s for volume larger than 1 ml, and if smaller we round to the hundreds, but there is nothing about mcg ?

Hi everyone!

For the flu shot section on castle branch- is it wanting proof of getting last year's flu shot? Or do we leave it empty until this year's flu shot is available?

I put my proof up but I didn’t get my flu shot until January of this year. And I am thinking they want us to get it September/October 2020 so when I do I will just replace or add a second document to Castlebranch proving that. Maybe you should email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to see what you should do. Seems there is a little flexibility with this documentation as long as (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) is kept in the loop and knows what your plan is.
