Wake Tech Fall 2021 ADN program

Anyone else applying to the ADN program at Wake Tech for fall 2021 semester? How many points do you have?

I applied with 136, freaking out a bit.

I applied with 136 too! Ugh. Girl, same. I'm extremely anxious, an advisor told me I'm reeealllly on the cusp with the points. hoping for a miracle

I’ve been freaking out about it, I’m contemplating signing up for the March A&P 1 to retake it for the extra points...in case I don’t get in and need to reapply for Spring... I feel like the last semester to apply anything below 144 was an alternate and I’m not sure if any alternates ended up getting in ?

I think you should definitely do that! I'm doing that right now. I have a good GPA now but I got a C in A&P 1 when I took it two years ago when I wasn't able to dedicate myself to school. I'm retaking it this semester for an A because just thattt alone would bump me up to a 151. Plus there is always retaking the TEAS as well. Don't give up hopeeee

I had a C in A&P 1 as well for the same reason ! But at least if we get a B it’ll be 144pts and an A would be at 152!

very true, definitely doing the March-may A&P now!! Thank you for convincing me to just do it! Hope we both get in together!

I applied with 144pts. I know that the point cutoff for the Fall 2020 cohort was 139pts and the Spring 2021 cutoff was 143. I heard a lot of alternates were able to get in the Spring cohort though. I'm nervous because I feel like I'm right on the lower end of accepted applicants so I'm just hoping for the best right now.

You should be good for sure, but definitely good to hear the most recent numbers! Thanks!!

Hi All! Happy March 1st, let the countdown begin! I applied with 148 pts, and I’m currently taking Micro. Hopefully we will hear sooner rather than later. Good luck everyone! ?

I applied to Wake Tech, JCC, and Vance Granville for this Fall. I think Wake Tech is a long shot for me. I only have 132 points, No C's, but I got B's in all of my biology classes. 

I got a little worried because it was hard to find a testing center for my nurse aide, but I got that done just in time.

Hey Y'all! I applied with 136 points and this is my second time applying. The first time I did not get in. I was 6 on the alternate list and they accepted up to 5. I was so upset but it turned out to be a blessing because I had a family emergency and would have dropped out due to that anyway. I re-applied without making any changes but I am studying to re take the TEAS. Just in case I do not get in again and I need to re apply for Spring.

Hi Everyone! I am applying for the Fall with 160 points. Does anyone know when we will hear something? I imagine it's not until late March/April but the waiting is tough.  Best of luck to all of you!
