My petition was approved by the USCIS last Sept 27, 2007 and they forwarded it to NVC, how long will it takes to get into packet 3 and 4?:uhoh21:
I had sign a contract to an agency just to process my papers quickly, as they promised, as I read your forum, I realized that there's a lot of disadvantages when you are committed to them. Do I still have a choice or, are there steps to be done for them not to exploit me?
thank you, hope you could help me.

You still have a long wait ahead of you. No agency can process you application any quicker. Retrogression started 12 months ago so there are plenty of nurses ahead of you already in the waiting game. If you leave the agency you may loose your approval as approval is employer based

You are looking at a couple of years before you will get to the US. You are directly under the retrogression, it started for you when you got the approval of the I-140. Nothing will progress any further from here at this point.
Please be aware that there is no expedited processing for the green card, and you are directly affected by it. There is not one thing that your agency can do to get you to the US quicker, it is completely out of their hands. And you were also born in the Philippines, so it is anticipated that you will be waiting for quite some time, there are many more ahead of you already in the process.
And please be aware that there is no guarantee that you will get a green card, it is 100% up to the US government, no matter what your agency has promised you. Passing NCLEX and getting an employer no longer guarantees anything.
Suggest that whie you are waiting, you look for a job in another country to get experience.
