Waiting for Test Results?

What do you do when you're waiting for your test results? I just took the test and it's gonna take a while before I get the results. In the meantime, I'll keep myself busy.

How do you wait for your results? Do you constantly check your mail and wait impatiently?

Most states don't send results in email, so don't bother! If your state participates in quick results, you have a 48 hour wait. Whether they participate or not, your state BON may put a license on their website sooner than 48 hours, but most likely not on weekends. During the week, check there a couple of times a day if you wants.

Other than that, pray and play! Go connect with all your friends and family that you disconnected with in order to study and have some fun! We have all been there, the wait is awful, but you will survive it!

Best of luck

They'll send it through mail, right?

Then I wouldn't check my Yahoo inbox.

Nope, no email, only snail mail :)

I passed the waiting time by cleaning: seriously, I find it very cathartic to throw some weight behind a scrubbie and some hot water and cleaning suds!

My kitchen cupboards and bathroom cabinets have NEVER had that level of cleanliness and order since then. Got into the pantry, tossed everything I didn't use or expired (and let's face it, when in nursing school NONE of that gets done!).

I scrubbed crevices in the floor, bleached grout, you name it. And by the time I got confirmation that I could start work as an RN instead of a hotel maid, LOL, my house looked GREAT! :D
