Vivitrol

Just curious, how long is the nurse in monitoring suppose to take the vivitrol injections to not have the narcotic restrictions? I have a narc restriction for 6 months but my case manager said I could have it lifted if I take injections. Who determines the length required of taking these injections? Is it just until the narcotic restriction is over? The whole monitoring period? Or until a physican deems unnecessary? Just curious everyone else’s experience. Thanks!

Your case manager probably determines the length of time or refers that decision to your doctor.  I would just ask your CM.
