I'm about to file my papers for visascreen.Do I need a CGFNS ID no. before I can file my papers?

If so, how can I get a CGFNS ID no. If I only took NCLEX instead of CGFNS?

you didnt have a previous transaction with CGFNS/ICHP then you dont have the ID yet, you can only have it once you apply for any order fromm them. you can have it as soon as you apply it online they will email you the welcome notice together with your cgfns id. the advantage of having cgfns id is that when the the CGFNS center recieve documents needed they can easily tract by using your ID. :up::up::up:

by applying online you mean create an account in www.cgfns.org? Because I did that already five days ago and I still haven't received an ID.

It was a holiday here yesterday, meaning that most have been off from work for three to four days; so chances are nothing was done yet with your application to them.

Just be patient.

It took me a couple of weeks to get my ID. Get your paperwork rolling, they will send your ID to you.

Oh I see, I sure hope I'll be able to recieve my id as soon as possible. But is it ok if I send them some of my papers without an ID?

I would wait, not sure what the rush is as the VSC is not needed until the interview with immigration and there is the retrogression in place at this time.

To make it safer for your documents, I would wait until you can place the number on them so that they have a better chance of making it to your file. If you would not have applied on-line, then you could have sent them in at this time with the application, but since you did it; would wait for the number so that you do not get two issued and problems with your account afterwards.

check your email vry now and then and make sure you enter a valid email adress
