Visa Screening Certificate

Hi. Need info on how long it takes cgfns to process visa screening? I already have a file with them since I already have a cgfns certificate. Would it be an advantage? Thanks.

Yes, it is an advantage. Just this August, my sister filed for the Visa Screen. A week later, IELTS sent the results to ICHP and in two days, the Visa screen certificate was issued to her.

Mine, it took four months before they issued the Visa Screen Certificate to me.

Good luck!

That's really fast huh! I just hope I get lucky...By the way, do I need to ask ETS to send a copy of my TSE result? I took the TSE last year but I'm not sure if CGFNS has a copy of my result on file.

Hi! When you took the TSE, did you write there that you want ETS to send your results to ICHP/CGFNS? If not, then you have to request ETS to send your score to CGFNS, the fee is $10.

Why don't you create a CGFNS/ICHP account? In that way you can check your status online. You can also check if your requirements are completed already before they can issue you a Visa Screen Certificate.

Simply go to http://www.cgfns.org and click on "apply online" Just follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

Yes I requested a copy of my result to be sent to ICHP. I also have an account with Cgfns but I guess it's not updated. I called them up this morning and I was put "on hold" for 30mins...then the operator told me he'll call me as soon as he finds my file. He never called anyway! I guess I have to call them up again next week.

Thanks for your assistance. :-)

The account is updated but the process is so slow. My opinion. If they have received the TSE results already then they would tell in your account that its in the file waiting for evaluation. After that, they will issue the certificate to you.
