Virtual ATI

Published

Has anyone done the Virtual ATI and passed the NCLEX after getting the green light? I test on July 7 and I am working towards the green light. I took the predictor last night and had a 98% chance of passing on first attempt at NCLEX but I am so nervous. I have also taken a HURST Review which I just completed. I believe I am now going to focus on questions questions questions.

Finally got the green light last night!!

I have foundthrough personal experience and many nursing school friends that the Predictor score isn't necessarily representative of passing NCLEX. Let me explain-I made the mistake of waiting for the green light and in the meantime wasted a lot of money (scheduling the exam but then forfeiting my seat because I hadn't earned the green light). I completed the virtual ATI program last year, only to get a 65% on the Predictor. I was shocked, as I felt this didn't represent all the work I had put into studying, not to mention a 3.9 GPA! i rallied and began a more in depth review that my coach recommended and then went back to the Virtual modules. Back to the books, Tons more study, 2 failed NCLEX attempts and I decided this year I was just going to take it no matter what. Took it WITHOUT earning the green light and passed .

you will be great! í ½í±í ½í¸€ good Luck!

Thank you for your words of encouragement. It did take forever to get the green light as I graduated May 14 2015 and a week after started with my Virtual ATI coach. I have been doing Kaplan q bank also to get some variation with nclex questions. What resources did you use this time?

My school provided us with virtual ATI (I use the term "provided" loosely because we paid for it through course fees). It wasn't my cup of tea. I took the parts required for class. Started the modules, but really didn't find my tutor's remediation all that useful. Went ahead and NCLEXed without the green light.

You're welcome! That's what this forum is about...encouraging each other on this NCLEX roller coaster ride. I also used Kaplan Q Bank, scored mostly in the 60-70 range, took the Kaplan review (but didn't pass a few weeks after taking it). It wasn't until this year when I LET GO of this awful, nagging, feeling and scheduled the exam on my own terms. I had done the ATI VATI 3 times, but always had to start over because I couldn't seem to finish it within the 6 week time frame they have. I also never achieved the 92% on the Predictor. Other obligations took precedence (children, sickness, work, etc. ) and it was incredibly frustrating, but all of that is over now!

hang in there- YOU WILL DO THIS!!!!

At least 6 persons in my class passed the nclex without completing the green light. I think everyone got frustrated with how time consuming it was.

I used ATI throughout school, then did VATI after graduation since the school "provided" it (included in tuition :/ I found it helpful, got a 95% predicted pass, was given the green light, and tested the next week. I passed in 75 questions. I thought VATI was helpful in content, but not so much in the rationale portion of it. Also, I felt like some of the questions were similar to the questions I had previously had, so I was more or less memorizing their test bank, which was not helpful. I did complete it though, and I'm glad I did, but my favorite study tool for the NCLEX was the NCLEX mastery app on my phone. Their rationales are the best I have came across, and the questions are HARD, and similar to what I saw on the NCLEX. If you take the time to read the rationale (whether you got the question wrong or right) you will be headed in the right direction. I did about 3/4 of the total number of questions on the NCLEX mastery app and averaged about a 63%. It was honestly the best, but VATI is good if you need help with content. Good luck, you can do this!

Thank you!!! I am reviewing my labs and meds right now and I have been doing some questions on the nclex mastery I completed all of the fundamentals yesterday, and I have been working on the kaplan qbank also. Does anyone ever feel ready for the NCLEX? Ready or not July 7th is fast approaching...
