I took my NCLEX on the 8th of May. The following day on my application checklist it says "completed" right next to NCLEX Scores Transmitted. The only thing on my checklist that was not completed was my background check. SO I figured that was the reason why my license still says "pending". Finally on the 15th my Background check was completed. BUT my license status still says pending. Every time I call the BON they tell me they cannot give my results. I was wondering if anyone had to wait this long or has been in the same situation. I did the PVT and the good pop up came up and my NCLEX exam shut off at question 85. The wait is killing me.

Passing the NCLEX and being issued a license are two different things.
You can pass the NCLEX but if something came up in your background it could delay the issuing of a license

This. Have you asked the BON if there's anything outstanding in your application that you need to address?
And on a related note, if you had a criminal history and failed to disclose it for whatever reason (even if you plain old forgot), that will definitely delay your application. BONs don't like to see applicants who didn't disclose because they automatically think the worst.
Best of luck.
