Very Discouraged

Published

I graduated from my ADN program in May, took my first NCLEX July 29 and failed with 265 question. Studied up tested again September 20 and failed with 98 questions. I did the hurst review and I've done tons of questions. I was a good student in nursing school , just not the best test taker with computer tests. Any advice??

[COLOR=#003366]BratRN14 Don't get discourgaed.. I failed August 9th and I am still studying for my second attempt.. did you feel you rushed when you took it second time? did you focus on you weak areas... do you have test taking anxiety? Did you use any stratregy answering the NCLEX questions? Don't give up you get this!! stay positive think back what you did wrong and take your time.. Good luck to all of us!

I didn't feel rushed the second time, but I did feel much more nervous than I did the first time. I read the Kaplan test strategy book, but honestly I didn't even remember to use them during the exam. And yes, I have terrible test anxiety. I never did until I started nursing school and I can stress myself out so bad that I basically fail before I start.
