Veeb 2018-2019

Hello ladies, hope everyone is having a happy new year and is working towards accomplishing goals. I was wondering if anyone plans on attending the LPN program at Veeb this year. I'm taking the entrance examination the 20th of January. I'm so anxious abt school tht I've already applied for financial aid. Is anyone else excited? Any advice from students tht are still attending? Upon graduating how much can a new lpn earn in the first yr?

Are you selling your blue scrubs

I was able to put in all my codes and access all of the Ebooks on both the point and vital source. the only thing i don't see where to put is the course point code that corresponds to our individual classes... she emailed us a few days ago with it.

here is how I did it

make an account on the point ( the website is on that paper they provided w/ the pharmacology and maternity book) THE ONLY 2 books that will show up here is Pharmacology and pediatric nursing.

the remaining 4 ebooks you will have to redeem their code on the vitalsource.com website. Once you create an account on there It should have a tab on top that says "redeem". you will then put each individual code for the Basic Nursing book, calculate with confidence and the human body health and illness x2 books. once you put in the codes for each book it should pop up there. You can then download the vital source app on the kindle and put in your password and username that you signed up with and they will automatically show up there, then click on the download tab on its upper right corner for each book and it will download onto your tablet.

I hope this helped

how much books you downloaded on thepoint cause i was only able to do 2 but the teacher said to download basic nursing on thepoint but I can't its only on vital source. Idk what I'm doing wrong but this is very complicated for me

I hate how small these tablets are!!! í ¾í´” about buying a bigger one

I was told by Lisa briska via email to bring the tablets to orientation and we would be able to get the codes for the books that we need.

As of this afternoon. A lot of people haven't picked up their books... Come on guys!! Sacrifices must be made.

A lot of people will lose 500+ if they can't attend classes.

Come on chaps. Swallow pride, borrow, beg (don't steal)

When there is Lpn after your name. You can easily pay it back.

Sacrifices now, for a better future.

So...... if you don't purchase the books you won't be able to start classes? I have mines. Just asking.

It's not allowing me to create an account on the pints website , just return user. Any help on how to create an account ?

See you guys soon!! Those of u that are in group 1.

Wow, today's orientation was just wow. I wish I had brought coffee with me because I was calling asleep watching everyone fall asleep. Ready for real classroom time.
