How'd it go? I have an interview at VCU in a couple weeks.
Really laid back! Took a critical care test, no gotcha questions, basic ccrn and acls stuff. Interviewers didn't ask me a single gotcha question. Questions similar to a job interview. Was a great experience considering how nervous I was!

Have you heard anything yet? I interviewed in October, and have been anxiously waiting to hear something back. In previous years, it seems they called around this time so I was curious if anyone else has heard anything.
I interviewed earlier this week, and they said the admissions committee was going to meet before leaving for the holiday break and let candidates they definitely wanted to offer a spot to know before they left. I think they also were going to notify those they weren't going to offer a spot to as well, but that may have been just from the group of us who interviewed. I got called yesterday, so you may have heard something either way by now.
However, since the deadline for Aug 2016 is Jan 1st, there still might be applications coming in over the holidays, which they would review when they return and possibly need to interview as well. They said sometime mid-January for anybody that was on the fence for an admissions spot. So not hearing back yet doesn't rule you out completely. Hope that helps.

You say you got a call, did you get accepted??
Yeah, I was offered a spot. I'm not sure how they're choosing to notify people, but they called me.

Got the call Dec 15th, accepted to VCU-Abingdon. Anyone else heard back prior to their holiday break?

I got called the week before x-mas break and offered a spot in Richmond's master program [emoji4].
It was mentioned in my interview session that they would still review applications through January for the DNAP program as well...so no news maybe good news.
I just got notified this week via phone call/email for a spot at the Richmond site. I'm still unsure about starting in August or January...but it is a relief to finally hear back since I interviewed back in October! At first they notified me late December that they wanted to move my application to the January DNP cohort, but then I got this phone and was super shocked/excited.
