  1. I interviewed on a Friday back in January and they called me on the next Monday offering me a spot. I ultimately declined it since I was admitted to a different program that was a better fit. The interview itself was pretty straightforward. The standard get to know you questions to start, why did you want to be a CRNA, why our school, etc...The clinical questions, at least for me, came from asking me about a difficult pt I had recently taken care of. They took meds that I mentioned and asked me to go deeper into what type of drugs they were, mechanism of action, intended effect. Also any therapies I described, or procedures we did they piggybacked off of that and asked more detailed questions. It wasn't bad, they were all really nice and not too bent on making you crack under pressure, but definitely wanted to know you knew what you're talking about.
  2. Sorry for the late reply. GRE 315, GPA 3.7, 2.5 yrs ER and just hit 2 yrs in the ICU, CCRN. I live in Portland and would love to meet up, or at the very least point you in the right direction! So many good breweries here.
  3. I go an email on Friday last week to set up an interview for the end of January.
  4. I was offered an interview, and when I log in it goes to an "Interview Confirmation Page" with my interview date listed, and then some places to input some additional information. At the bottom is an option to "confirm" or "decline" the interview. So, my application portal doesn't have an option to reapply for fall 2017. Sounds like some people still haven't heard either way, so here's hoping for the best for you...
  5. Yeah, I was offered a spot. I'm not sure how they're choosing to notify people, but they called me.
  6. I interviewed earlier this week, and they said the admissions committee was going to meet before leaving for the holiday break and let candidates they definitely wanted to offer a spot to know before they left. I think they also were going to notify those they weren't going to offer a spot to as well, but that may have been just from the group of us who interviewed. I got called yesterday, so you may have heard something either way by now. However, since the deadline for Aug 2016 is Jan 1st, there still might be applications coming in over the holidays, which they would review when they return and possibly need to interview as well. They said sometime mid-January for anybody that was on the fence for an admissions spot. So not hearing back yet doesn't rule you out completely. Hope that helps.
  7. I sent one in! Haven't heard anything yet, but it's still early.
  8. How'd it go? I have an interview at VCU in a couple weeks.
  9. I applied to Northeastern this fall. Sent my application in late September, heard back a couple weeks later asking to come out and interview. They gave me a few dates in December and January to pick from, and the earliest I could do was in January. As far as the interview, a former co-worker is currently in the program now, and it seems to be a bit of get to know you along with clinical based questions and talking through a critical pt you've taken care of (pharmacology, pathophys, that kind of stuff). I think you meet with both current students and have a panel interview.
