Vango Notes anyone?

Has anyone used or is planning to use Vango Notes? I ran across them tonight on http://www.audible.com. I listened to the samples for A&P and Micro. It also looks like they have a lot of Nursing programs (med-surg, neonatal, mental health). You can pay per download or buy a subscription. My commute to and from work is about 30-45 min. one way in regular traffic. That's an additional 60-90 minutes of studying every day that would otherwise be lost time. I'd love to hear from someone who has used it and whether they thought it was worth the money/effort.

I have used them during my long commutes, Ido find them helpful. I have purchased them on i tunes, but most are not seperated by chapter. So it is much more convienent to get them at audible. I just get the chapers i need. They are basic but do cover the important facts and also have a question and answer section. A good way to learn more on the go.

I used Vango notes and also listened to my recorded lectures. I enjoyed the Vango notes, but was uneasy about relying on them because I found several errors! I'd be listening and think "hey, that's not what the book said" and have to go look it up and make sure I had it right in my head & then figure out which was wrong; the book or the Vango notes. I caught 3 errors in the first one I tried & 2 in another. The other thing that got me was that they mispronounce some of the medical terms. They need someone medical to be narrating the medical stuff. Overall, though, I think they're worth it.

Let us know how it goes.

I love my Vango Notes! I purchased on iTunes for my iphone. It's great review while i'm driving. I purchased the fundamentals of nursing. Planning on purchasing any others that go along with my upcoming classes. Great way to study when you can't read! The downside is i find it difficult to keep track of what is where. I would love an outline or table of contents to help me better navigate.

i love them! i use them on the treadmill for pharmacology review as I'll need to take the NLN test to go back to school for my BSN. I plan on using them for other classes too

I used them for A&P and found them very helpful.

I see the running time is only 22mins per book. I assume it's severely abridged? Do you have to purchase the entire book or can you purchase individual chapters? thanks!
