Value of NCLEX review courses

Just registered tonight and hope you can help. Is it worth $500 plus dollars for an NCLEX review course such as Kaplans or are there effective, less expensive alternatives. I graduated Dec. 18th and am waiting for my authorization to test. Thank you.

I heard there worth it. I'm sure the $500 you are spending isn't the biggest deal compared to the rest of your tuition. I have an instructor who took a course like that, and she said it helped greatly. At the same time, you can run your own course by buying review books and reviewing your old notes. Don't freak out about the exam... if you received a good education in school it shouldn't be a problem.
