VA Nursing

I would like other nurses to tell how they feel about working as a nurse at the VA. I am part time as a RN in the VA and I want to start working as a nurse practitioner. I have my NP degree as a FNP and work full time outside the VA as a FNP. Anythoughts ?

    What is it you want to know? If you are asking about working there as an NP go for it.. Especially since you are probably already in VetPro, now all you have to do is apply, be selected and get through the credentialing dept. If you cant find an opening you could take your show on the road.

    I have been getting a TON of job announcements for FY12. The VA in CO Springs CO & HotSprings SD are both looking for NP travelers. Hit me up if you want the info on those.
