Hi everyone,
I will be moving to the Fredericksburg area soon and a had a few questions. When I graduate from nursing school, should I take the NCLEX-RN in my home state now (Ga) or wait and take it in Va? Does it even matter? If i take it in Ga., will I have to pay more fees to get going in Va.? I actually go to school in South Carolina, so should I take it there, instead? Its SO confusing
Also, can anyone recommend any hospitals in that area that I should look into? What do you think about going to the ED straight from school? is that even possible? I know people say that I should do a year on a med/surg floor, but I am a PCA there now and HATE it!!! I dont mind the surgical floors so much, though... What about just 6 months, instead?
