  1. Wow! This is great. I am hearing so many good things about this school. They will definitely be at the top of my list. Thanks for responding everyone:)
  2. Thanks for the tip. I just posted it in the OB-GYN forum. Hope we can get some responses:)
  3. Has anyone ever attended this school or know of anyone who has. What kind of reputation does it have? After reading their website I was very interested in their "community focus" and combined CNM/WHNP program. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  5. I'm not sure about Marymount. I haven't really heard anything. I do know they are the only school though who's deadline hasn't passed yet for fall admissions. I'm going to cross my fingers and apply there. I don't want to wait for another full year before I can apply.
  6. Thanks for the info Alicia18. It's really hard to actually see what's out there as far as training since I am still in Indonesia. I've visited many websites, but none of them mention anything about CNA training. I was interested in Mary Washington Hospital. It looks like I will have to do Rappahanock Community College. It takes about 2 months, and is basically all day, so I can't really work like I want to. We'll see how things go. Thanks.
  7. Does anyone know where I can get CNA training? I'm finally moving back to America and want to get started on my nursing career. I want to start off as a CNA while I work on my prerequisites and apply to schools. I will go the second degree BSN-MSN route, so I want to get experience in hospital settings. Right now I only see Rappahanock Community College offering training. Does anyone know any other places in the Fredericksburg/King George/Richmond area? Are there any other ways to gain experience in the hospital setting other than being a CNA? Thanks for your help:)
  8. Hi, I'm from King George, VA which is about 25 minutes from Fredericksburg. Everyone I know goes to Mary Washington Hospital. They are apart of Medicorp which has a variety of different healthcare systems. Here is the link to their employment website. You can browse the positions at the different facilities and apply online. http://www.medicorp.org/employment.mgi I am overseas now with my husband, but will be returning to live in Fredericksburg/King George in Mid-March/April. I plan to start applying to nursing schools. If you need any help with the area, just PM me.
