I have just finished my first year, and am considering buying a year long subscription to UWorld now to use until I take the NCLEX. I would love to hear from Uworld subscribers, your opinion on whether or not you feel it will be beneficial for school (I will be doing Maternal, Child, and Peds and another go round with Med Surg in the Fall, then my preceptorship in the spring.
While I know that UWorld is intended for NCLEX prep, I'm really wondering if starting it NOW will also benefit me in school. I'm a very good student and doing well, but always feel like I'm leaving info on the table as well. Can't read or do my regular studying any more than I am, so really looking for another study modality. Thanks for your opinion!

I've been using uWorld in the second and 3rd semester; it's been very helpful.

UWorld only has 1800 questions. I think it's probably better to use it when you're in your last semester so the materials will stick prior to the real NCLEX. There are numerous decent question banks such as the "Success" series. I use that, Saunders, and Lipponcott throughout nursing school and I will be using uworld this summer as I'm approaching my final semester.
