UWF Fall 2021 BSN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Did any of you all apply for UWF’s Fall 2021 BSN traditional program? What were you all’s stats? I had an 80% TEAS (first-attempt) & 3.71 cum. (nonpre-nursing courses included). I also was going to apply to UNF’s BSN program, & may retake the TEAS if I don’t get into UWF.

Hey! I wish I knew to apply sooner. I only applied to UNF AND USF for fall but not to positive I’ll get in. The will be applying to UWF for Spring 2022!! It’s crazy how much stuff you gonna submit tho. So much money ?

Hey, I got waitlisted for UWF Fall 2021 (fingers crossed). What are your stats? I got rejected from UCF (main campus) and FGCU, which are both extremely competitive. UWF as I suspected is less competitive than those schools.

I got rejected from UCF and UNF for Summer ABSN so I feel that. It’s very frustrating but we will get in eventually! My prereq GPA is 3.6, overall 3.6, and first attempt at TEAS without studying was 85. But I think I may take it again. I’m just so tired of doing so many things for different schools

Welp, there's a whole month till UNF's deadline. I know I can improve my TEAS score in May. I didn't prepare any bit for the reading section, and the questions seemed unconventional unlike SAT questions, which are more straightforward. Then I need to solidify my A&P knowledge of course. Perhaps I should contemplate how wonderful it will be to be a nurse and care for patients.

I got in for fall ‘21 at UWF. Rejected from UCF, and didn’t apply to FGCU. I am a student from UNF. UNF is INSANELY competitive... they rejected me too and I am their own student! I am wishing you the best of luck. I am not going to confirm my seat at UWF until UF gets back to me in a month or two about their decision. UF has the HESI instead of the TEAS and I did really good on it on my first try!

Hii! What are your scores! I didn’t get into UCF or UNF for the Summer accelerated programs! I’m still applying to UNF again for the fall tho but I’m so nervous for that interview again. I wish I knew sooner to apply to UWF for fall. I will be applying for Spring as a back up! I have a 3.6 overall, 3.6 prereq, and 85 on TEAS my first try. I might take it again in May but I neeeeed to start studying!

UWF Fall 2021 BSN accepted! I accepted the offer. UWF has a beautiful campus, along with many miles of bike trails by campus.

I am happy that you finally got accepted! Pensacola is a big Navy/military town and of course has nice beaches.

So... I had a garbage first TEAS score of a 79 but I got it up to an 85 like yours. However, my GPA is a 3.8 overall and 3.75 Pre-req. My resume is quite extensive as I am not only a CNA, Scout leader, and conducted many volunteer projects, but I am involved in many clubs and sports teams. UWF and UF look at many other things than numbers hence why they use the nursingCAS application system. For this very reason is why I love UF and UWF's application/admission processes.

Just as an FYI for this Summer at UNF there were over 600 applications and only 35 were selected. That's an acceptance rate of less than 6%. The Summer is also apparently a "lot less competitive"... so you can probably imagine the chances for everyone in the fall.

Yes, there are already more than 600 applicants for the fall. They accept 36 for APL, 36 for RPL, and starting this fall another cohort at their new campus I think for 24. I honestly just didn’t do well in the interview. I can only hope to do better on the TEAS (I didn't study the first time I took it), do better in the interview, and hope for better chances for the fall. If I don’t get accepted again it isn't the end of the world. I will get into UWF for Spring or SCC/UCF. Looking at the stats I think I have a good chance because those programs are much less competitive
