Hey everyone,
I'm currently in a CNA program and I was interested in applying to UW for their Accelerated BSN program for 2015. I obtained my BA through UW and I was planning on completing the rest of my prereq's in time to apply while working as a CNA over summer and then part-time. However, I just now noticed that their tuition seems to be fixed regardless of whether someone is in-state or out-of-state? It says here: http://nursing.uw.edu/academic-services/degree-programs/nursing-program-costs.html that the tuition is almost 9K per quarter which is about 45K for the whole program since that is 5 quarters long.
Can someone verify if that is true? I used to live in Nevada and I'd consider moving back after completing my CNA course and transferring my license, taking prereq's there and applying to Nevada State College IF the tuition for UW is really that expensive. Nevada State College also has an accelerated track and I'd be in-state after about four months since I already lived there for eight previously. Please let me know if UW is cheaper for in-state or if this is really their cost for the program.

Unfortunately this is true and correct... Its the post-bacc fee-based program.
