UTMB Spring 2018

In previous application cycles it seems as if there are multiple rounds of interviews/acceptances. Hopefully she means it could be 6-8 weeks for those to be completed, not 6-8 weeks before anyone hears a peep. Maybe that is why it could be sooner. I guess we just have to wait and see.

Mrs.Botello told me they just started reviewing the spring applications. She said in quote "We are just beginning the process it will be 6-8 weeks (could be sooner) and all updates are sent out via email. Thank you for your patience."

I called UTMB on Monday and they said "You should be hearing back anywhere from 2-3 weeks or maybe even sooner, Just check your email often for updates."

Just wanted to throw this out there, I applied for Fall 2017 back in January and first heard back from the school in April saying that I was still being considered and didn't hear back from them again till June 7 when I was rejected. The wait is the most nerve wrecking thing ever but just stay positive and patient!

@AndreaH923 thats great news! I figured we would hear something back within a month or so. I've had more than a couple of friends who have told me about the process, so I know the waiting is the most anxious part.

Such a long wait, like i said earlier in this thread i would reccomend most of us reapply before the aug 15th deadline for summer

What green dot is everyone talking about on mystar? I usually login and go to student services then to application status. Should I be looking somewhere else?

when you log in there's a link called student center and once you click on that scroll all the way down and under admissions there's a table called my applications and you should see a green dot that says complete

I am starting to get little worried now. I know none of us have heard anything from them yet. this is my first time applying to any nursing school. I am really interested in going to UTMB. I just wanted to share my stats to see where I stand.

GPA

Oveall GPA = 3.81

Science GPA = 3.80

TEAS

Overall - 80%

Reading - 83

Science - 72

Math - 90

English - 75

Also, to the people who have recently joined If you don't mind me asking your stats. It will be helpful for everyone to see where each stands. Thank you in advance!

From looking back on past forums, your stats seem to be good! I don't think you have anything to be worried about.

Nope, I'm just submitting the same stuff but I wont be doing that till august 1st, wait for a hear back hopefully.
