I applied at the end of May and received my E-connect info in the mail in June. A person in admissions told me that it usually takes them 2.5-3 weeks to get the E-connect info to you once your application is received. I would imagine that if you sent in your application right at the deadline, it may even take a little longer since it sounds like they get bombarded with applications near the end.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Chensiqi!

I think I'll call tomorrow and see if I am all official in the system - will ease my concerns for a few weeks....

This is my first time applying at UTMB, however I've also applied at PVAMU, and in the process of applying to TWU & UT that's where you might have seen my name in their forums.

Aaaahhh... I applied to TWU as well. Haven't heard from them yet. I hope I get into at least one school.

Hey guys,

Just an update. I called SON and they said that they are still reviewing applications. Mid August till September, they'll be conducting interviews. Most likely, you won't hear anything in regards to admission till the end of September.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the update! That's still a lot better than last year's group, who didn't get interviews until October! Hopefully we'll start getting contacted for interviews in the next few weeks. Yay!

Do you know how many students they are accepting to the BACC2 program? Or is 100 a total count for both programs?

Are you also applying to UT Houston? If so, how did you do on the HESI Exam....I am currently studying for it and plan to take it on Aug 20...I am little overwhelmed because I am reading 3 books....What book did you use to study for the HESI...Thank you in advance for the info...

I still don't know if I'll continue with the apply process at UT since I just took the HESI for PVAMU on 7/31 and apparently you have to wait 30days I'll have to clarify that with UT. Anyway, PVAMUonly asks for four sections A&P, grammar, math and reading. I went ahead and took the Critical thinking eventhough its not required, but didnt take the vocab which UT does required. I passed all the sections for PVAMU.

Resources I used were the TEAS V book since I took that exam for UTMB, online websites; QUIZLET (VERY GOOD FOR THE A&P and vocab section.) Math is pretty simple and basic. Definitely review all your A&P notes if you have taken that class.
