UTMB Fall 2022

Question for those of you that have access to MyStar already, the Scholarship Application tab is available for me on MyStar but when I try to login to that specific page/tab, it just says "The username you entered cannot be identified". Have you guys had the same issue when trying to log in to the "Scholarship Application" page? I can login to MyStar just fine though. I'm wondering if I just have to wait until after admission in order to be able to log in to that page and apply for institutional scholarships?

This might be a stupid question, since it’s sorta clear on the application, but do all five science courses have to be completed by the application deadline? As in today? I thought I could apply while working on my last science class which is Microbiology. On the “questions” tab on the application it states all five have to be completed, but on the “pre-requisites” tab it says only two have to be completed? I think I messed up and now I won’t be able to apply for the Fall semester…. ?

I just checked NursingCAS and I believe that information about only needing two might be outdated from older admission terms. I would contact admissions and ask about this though, it never hurts to ask. But yes the UTMB website means that you need all five physical sciences completed when you submit your application, not a single one can be in progress.

I know it sucks but at least you can try in the Spring and there are fewer applicants than in the fall so you have a higher chance of acceptance. Don't let this discourage you!

I was having the same problem so I contacted financial services and she said the application for Fall 2022 students won’t be open until the end of July. Hope this helps!

Did they say when they will start sending out acceptance or denial letters for SON at UTMB?

Unfortunately, she didn't say when, but I only spoke to someone in financial services. We should hopefully hear back in the first or second week of April based on previous forums. Fingers crossed!

I just received notification that I was accepted into the Fall 2022 UTMB FNP program

Congrats! I applied for the traditional BSN but still have not heard back. The application stated it takes between 12-16 weeks to get a response after the deadline of February 1st. Hoping to hear something by April...
