UTMB Fall 2016

I was conditionally accepted today! I received an email at 11am this morning. Look out for the email in your junk/spam folder if you haven't heard back quite yet.

Just got the word from my daughter, she was waitlisted. She received an email on Thursday evening. So she plans to attend West Texas A&M (WTAMU) Nursing program for the Summer however if we get the call, she will be ready to attend UTMB in the fall. If she does not get the call, she moves forward with all WTAMU.

Congrats to everyone who got conditionally accepted and waitlisted. Good luck to all.

I am a proud daddy however I will be happier if she gets the call from UTMB for the Fall 2016.

Did anyone get an email about undergoing a background check from a Dora Turner? It says that it isn't indicative of application status but I'm wondering if it's something I still need to do regardless. I called the school but the lines are busy.

Yes, my daughter received the email too today. She plans to get the finger printing done next week but we weren't sure if it was specific to her or a general ask for all waitlisted or potential students.

Yeah, I'm not too sure either. Maybe it's for potential people to get off the waitlist or maybe it's a general ask.

I think it's for accepted and waitlist. I was accepted and declined my acceptance and never got one. I would go ahead and do it, you'll end up getting off the waitlist at the last second and you'll want to have all your ducks in a row.

Hey guys! I've been following this thread for awhile now and finally decided to comment... Did anyone get conditional acceptance for spring 2017? In other posts from previous fall semesters, a lot of users received waitlisted for fall but conditional acceptance for spring so I was wondering if any of you got an email of something similar. I got waitlisted for fall 2016 only, and I am going in for my fingerprinting today.

I got waitlisted without the conditional acceptance. I wonder if that's indicative of where my position is on the waitlist.
