UTHSCSA Spring 2015

I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

Neither do I. Im so excited that I know you are Thai and we were waiting for the same thing:) I have been living here for almost 7 years. I used to live in BKK for 9 years. :D

Hey, I'm also applying for spring 2014, does anyone know if the supplemental application will have an essay question?

Yes, probably 3 questions

Got my email as well, looks like the last batch went out today so I hope everyone received theirs! I am happy to see mine because I had a transcript that was late but Brandy was awesome and worked with me. Hopefully the rest of process continues to go off without a hitch and we all get to meet up in the spring!

Yes I'm keeping my fingers crossed because last semester the admin process was full of delays

Dlg7 and lucio good luck on your journey I got In for Galveston!! You have all my fingers crossed and good luck to everyone. These 3 months if waiting have ended I'm in tears of joy.

Do you have a facebook account? :) It would be great if we could talk more! you can look me up look up under the name Bear Huskymeow I promise I'm not a creepy old guy

Congratulations Cyndianajones I'm very happy for you! :cat:

The rest of us here shall continue freaking out till we get the acceptance letters

Just an FYI for those who haven't started the required vaccinations yet, the hep B that is required can take up to 6 months to complete and UT Health requires that you have all immunization one month prior orientation! UT health science center has one called TWINRIX that takes one month, and Just found out that they are one of the only ones that carry this specific vaccination. So you may have to go there to complete the required immunizations in time :D

Best of Luck to everyone

Yes for your HepB vaccination...well for me at least, its a series of 3 shots. The first one you get, then wait a month for the second, and than wait many months for the third!

I wonder what time we should be getting the supplemental application sent to us. Has anyone received it yet?
