UTHSCSA Fall 2015

Hi! I know people in previous years have started threads just to talk over the application process and such. Just wondering how everyone is doing so far.

For those who started their application earlier than me, how did the whole transcript acceptance experience go? I looked at the FAQ for NursingCAS, but the answers seem to be more for the 2.0. I'm panicking slightly because I've had some issues with my transcript and if something goes wrong I will, obviously, most likely not have time to fix it.

    Hey there! I have had some MAJOR issues with NursingCas.. They are moving from the 2.0 to the 3.0 software, and it has been very difficult to contact them about the different issues I have had with transcripts.. They are also taking forever with everything..

    I called UTHSCSA and they said that your transcripts just have to be post-marked by Feb. 1st to be considered complete; even if they aren't processed yet.

    Just FYI!!

    YAY! I'm so glad there's already a thread for FALL 2015 applicants. I was reading previous threads from 2014 and spring 2015. Have you all taken the TEAS V? And if so how were your scores? I just took mine today :unsure: and don't get the results till Sunday or Monday!!

    The FAQ seem to all be related to the 2.0 system it was useless. The first time I tried calling I got the automated voice that pretty much hangs up on you, and the second time it just rang from 4-6 minutes every try until it hung up on me. How do they not have a high volume system in place? Eesh. :banghead:

    Thank you so much for that information though! My main stresser (besides my transcripts being wrong, but that is a whole 'nother story) was that my transcripts were not going to make it in time to be processed. Plus I feel like I've heard too many stories of them losing transcripts?!?! Ugh. Maybe I'll just send my transcripts a bunch of times like a crazy lady....

    Same here! I was inspired to make a post by reading the Spring 2015 thread! :)

    I took my TEAS in late December, and I got my scores waaaay before I thought I was going to get them! How do you feel you did? (I'm excited for you to find out!) I was such a mess waiting for mine truthfully. I did way better than I thought/hoped I was going to so I'm super happy.

    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 93.3

    Reading: 95.2

    Math: 96.7

    Science: 91.7

    Language: 90.0

    Thanks so much to replying to this thread guys! I was hoping someone would so I wouldn't feel dumb about posting it. :D

    Heres where I stand:

    I have a math and science GPA of a 3.5, an overall GPA of a 3.2 and I got a 77.3 as my adjusted individual score on the TEAS V

    Don't worry, I sent all of my transcripts twice lol

    Its better to be thorough I guess

    Hi Everyone!! I too am applying to the Fall 2015 program... 5 days left!! I stand with a 3.4 math & science gpa and a 3.3 cumulative, with a 70% on my teas test:nailbiting:.. I am hoping for the best, since I know a lot of students scored higher..
