UTEP PNP Fall 2017

Hello,

I recently applied for UTEP PNP-PC program and am having a hard time finding any information on their website.

I found two different deadlines for the application for Fall 2017. Can anyone tell me what the admission process/time line is like? How long after the application deadline did it take to hear if you will be interviewed or are considered/accepted? What was the interview like? Any suggestion on prep? Also, how far in advance do you know if you are accepted? The fall program starts in August and I have received admission to another program in July but UTEP is my top choice and I'd like to know if Ill have a decision from them prior to the start of the other program.

    Has anyone heard anything about interviews? Back in May I was told that the program wanted to make final decisions by ~July 19,2017. I have seen on the FNP board that they have been interviewing, their deadline was 3 weeks ahead of ours.

    No not yet. I emailed the director yesterday. Hopefully we will hear something this week since the semester is supposed to start on The 21st of August and orientation should be the week before. I think we are the last program to hear anything, all other programs have at least heard back about interviews.

    I interviewed yesterday for AC PNP at UTEP Fall 2017..... no news on acceptance yet. Interview was very laid back, faculty was very approachable. I would love be part of this group if the interview resembles their interaction with students :) Has anyone else interviewed for AC PNP Fall 2017?

    Did they give you a time frame on when acceptance letters will be going out?

    No. No time frame. But i read on another post that another applicant was told decisions would be made around 07/14.
