Uta Waiting List

I received a letter from UTA school of nursing saying that I have been placed on the waiting list for fall 2005 admissions. Is there anyone out there that has been on a waiting at UTA or somewhere else? Please reply to let know how it works. Anything that I need to do to boost my chances? your advice will be highly appreciated. I am about to loose hope.

What UTA are you going to? I want to go to University of Texas at Arlington but I have not meet anyone that has gotten in. Everyone I know that applied has been turned away, they can't even get on the waiting list. I only know the gpa of one of these people and it was a 4.0 so I feel sure I won't get in.

I will be going to UTA Arlington, all things being equal. The acceptance, denial, and waiting list letters were received this week.Basically, they do not just consider your GPA, a lot of factors like your interview and writing sample scores, as well as the successful completion[ or in progress] of three pre-nursing classes like pharmacology, pathophysiology, and concepts of nursing are being considered. Your friend with 4.00 gpa may have been denied because of these factors. Pray that I GOT PULLED FROM THIS WAITING LIST.
