UST BSN FALL 2020

Published

Hello, I was wondering if anyone applied to the University of St. Thomas here in Houston and got accepted to the nursing program for the fall?

Specializes in ICU.

Hi,

I am considering applying to UST.
I was planning on applying to programs for Spring 2021, but saw I might have a chance at UST for fall.

I have a friend who is there currently, just finished her first semester.

Hi,

I got accepted a week ago to the ABSN program for the fall!

Hey I got accepted into the program! I start this fall In the absn program! Can’t wait to meet you guys

Hi,

First I would like to say Congratulations! Im planning to apply to the program for 2021 but have a few questions. I’m currently taking my prerequisites at LoneStar but I’m being told it’s best to take at St. Thomas and that I’m guaranteed to get into the program. Just wondering if anyone else heard about the new prerequisite they’re now offering. I’m very nervous I would like to know How was the process? Did you have an interview? Do we have to write essays? What HESI score you’ll had when you applied to the program?

Thanks

Did you all take your HESI in person or through proctor?

Do you know how competitive it is?

I can’t say for sure but for the accelerated program from what I see required a bachelors degree and at least 2.8 cumulative with the required prerequisites. I will not share my stats but I will be honest and tell you I didn’t have the highest GPA but I did do well on the HESI. And my advisor knew how bad I wanted it. So I believe she advocated for me.
