USPHS Nurses specialty

Any of the nurses that work for USPHS work in the ER or NICU? I want to go into USPHS but I also want to work at a level 1 trauma center for er or any other hospital for NICU. Not sure which one I want to do more leaning towards ER adrenline junkie. Do you get to pick your speciality once you enter? Thanks in advance.

I understand that agencies contact you have your submit your application to offer you a job and location.. you can accept or reject.. if you reject perhaps another agency contacts you - perhaps not.. therefore it seems the recruiting is a bit more driven by the needs of agencies, they look at your app and decide if they want to extend an offer based on what they need, what you want and whether an agreement is met ;)
