Yes, Amado, I used study guides and they helped me make A s on 6 of my 7 Excesior exams! I would highly recommend Chancellors AND Professional Development Systems study guides. I used both concurrently and I believe that's why I did so well.

Amado- did you sign up with EC before Dec. 5, 2003? I notice that you live in Cali.

I want to know when you started the program and if you have completed it. I was informed that the board of nursing in California no long accepts excelsior graduates.

I have a set of study guides for sale if anyone in this forum is interested.

Amado, I used Chancellors guides for all prereqs and nursing courses...I strongly encourage you to used them...plus attend their CarepLan lab which helps prepare you for the Excelsior Clinical (CPNE). The Chancellor guides, comes with all you need to pass your tests, plus audio tapes to listen to as well. I used them for all my courses.

The College Network is also good guides, but I am not sure if they have a prep lab like Chancellor's does....

Hope that helps

Have you checked out the distance learning forum in the drop down menu? Very helpful area.

Hi,

How are you?

For NC 1 & NC 6, are there audio tapes came with the study guides (books) or no audio tapes at all?

Thank you for reading my e-mail.

Hi,

I just got the Chancellor study guides NC1 and NC 6 from ebay and found that there were no audio tapes inside both package. Do you or anyone know that there should be tapes came with them or that was it?

Thank you.

Ann
