Using Salary.com as a Guide

Has anyone used Salary.com to research salary expectations within your geographical area and job role? I am just curious to find out if the estimates seem accurate. Thanks!

Where I live the salary estimates for staff nurses read a bit on the high side. However, for my own role they read a bit on the low side.

Yes, I'm noticing staff nurse salaries are high compared to what companies are willing to offer. I look at job posts on sites like glassdoor.com and think "how are they coming up with these estimates?"
