Using MasterA&P without CourseID (professor doesnt use MasteringA&P)

Please forgive me in advanced if I post this in the wrong place. Im still new to this site.

I started my main A&PI course 2 days ago (BIO 430 at American River CC). The book I got from the bookstore was a bundle and it included the Pearson MasteringA&P access code. Unfortunately, my professor does not use the site. I would still like to use it for extra studying and such, so is it possible to still use the code without a course ID?

    If its an access code usually you can still use it, but if it requires a course code so that you are registered to a class it might not work, it would be best to just call whatever phone number is listed on the materingA&P slip.
