USF Second Sequence BSN: Spring 2018

Hi everyone,

I haven't found a thread for this yet so I thought I'd go ahead and make one!

I'm a current graduate student at USF with the hopes of getting into the Second Sequence BSN for Spring 2018. I also am also applying to UF (I made a topic for that a while back if anyone is applying there as well!!) although I have decided that USF is my top choice because I love it so much here.

    Woww, that is a little disappointing

    It really is. I don't understand why they do it that way, especially only looking at first time attempts. I personally did not retake any classes but I know some people may have retaken them to have a better chance.

    I'm personally upset because this makes a huge difference in how my (and I'm sure a lot of others) pre-reqs are personally calculated. :(

    Man.... this is a big stinker. I hope we can still manage for an interview because now I am super anxious. :( Crossing my fingers for us!

    This is really unfortunate. I actually spent the last 2 semesters retaking pre-reqs to obtain higher grades, which I did. Now I do not feel confident finding this out. :(

    This is correct. Interviews are October 23-25, and you will hear between then and October 13th. :)

    S0 I'm definitely surprised that the actual application was basically just clicking submit. I was expecting to have to send in a resume or personal statement. Most second degree programs at least ask for a resume to see what your work experience is. So kind of nervous now.

    Same here. it's very grade based to simply get an interview. So hopefully we can be invited and then share everything we have with the panel!!!! :-)
