USD MEPN App 2012 - Fall Class of 2011 Stats

Hello all!

I haven't seen anything yet for those applying for USD's (2012) MEPN program. I have almost everything finished for my application, but am refining my personal statement. It's been rough.... I'm so stressed out about it.

I'm wondering if anyone who was accepted for the fall 2011 class could give me some insight on your stats (GPA, GRE, volunteer work, etc.) USD is my number 1 choice for many reasons and I want an interview!

Hi- I also just applied to USD as my first choice and really hope I score an interview. Apparently we will hear after the Christmas break. I wonder how many ended up applying this year..

Hi Soxy,

I am so nervous and kind of surprised that there aren't any other forums started (or ones that I have found) by applicants for this fall. USD is my number one choice and I feel like I'm going crazy just waiting to hear. Have you heard anything? Did you apply to any other programs?

Hi everyone,I've applied to USD and many other programs that I am still waiting to hear back from. I just received an email today from USD and was wondering if anyone else did as well. I hope the email wasn't sent out in error lol. Good luck to everyone! The wait is super unbearable but we are all in this long haul together!

USD is currently my number one and only choice--and I did receive the email this afternoon for the interview!!! Now my anxiety level for the interview is taking over!

I was also surprised there were no other forums--(perhaps that means not many applied this year.. or perhaps this is just wishful thinking on my part.)

I also got the email. I am very excited and nervous now for the next step. I would be really interested in talking with some students who have gone through this process to pick their brains about what to expect, how they prepared, etc.

Hey guys, Have any of you RSVP for the interview? And if so, did you do it by email? I haven't received a response via email yet. Should I just call in to RSVP?

Hi imagine12,

I called and she asked me to send an email as well. I did receive an email confirmation of my RSVP today. I look forward to meeting you all in February and hopefully we'll all be classmates next fall!

Have any of you started preparing for the interview? I don't really know where to start. I know "why" I want to be a nurse and what has gotten me to that decision, but I feel like I should be prepared for more... I'm just not sure what.
