hello all-

i would like to first introduce myself and my situation (so you may get a better feeling of what i am looking for). my name is nik and i am 28 y/o single male. i currently live in lubbock tx and work at our level 1 trauma center in the ec. i have been employed with this company for 7 years in october- 4 years as a tech, 3 as an rn. i have my rn licence and emt certification, plan on taking my cen in november of this year. i have grown up my entire life in this hospital. i would now like to travel but for longer stents (greater than 13wks). i only have ec training and would like to stay in this area of medicine. also, my only language is english.

i am looking for companies that cater to us nurses looking for other countries. uk, ireland, saudi/uae, australia, new zealand, ect. so far i have found:

o'grady peyton

hci international

if you could please help me with other companies i would greatly appreciate it. also please include your opinion of these companies or others that you would recommend or not recommend. i am not looking into moving till after winter since i own my house and need to figure out what i am going to do with it.

thank you all for your help!

nik

What you need to be aware of is you need to get licensed in the country you plan to go to and that can take several months and then sort out work permit. (just something you need to add into your planning) Can take over 6 months for the UK and you will have to meet NMC requirements on English exam and ONP before a license is issued
