I am currently in an Adult NP program in upstate NY. I have been trying to compare the salary that can be expected. I know the salary at my current hospital, but I work in a large teaching hospital and wages are pretty low all around. As of now, I am weighing weather or not to take out loans and finish-up only working per diem, or stay full-time at my current job and continue using my tuition assistance through my employer going part-time in the program. Luckily, my wife is supportive of either. Any help on salary would be greatly appreciated. I do not know many NP's in the area to gauge the local economy.
Thanks!
