United Nations

Has anyone heard of what it's like to work as a nurse for the UN? What are the working conditions and where are usually nurses located? internationally? I haven't found any other posts on this site about the UN or Unicef. I'd apprechiate any input.

Hi there,

Glad to see I am not the only person interested in the UN. I just googled United Nations Jobs and came up with positions requesting to have nurses as educators and assisting with policies to improved healthcare. The job opportunities required the individual to have at least a masters. I am now more willing to obtain my masters for this reason. (Interestingly, that thought surprised even me.)

On with the conversation. Google United Nations Volunteers. I found a great website and added it to my favorites. I wish you well. Hope to see you on the board more and eventually in person somewhere helping others.
