Iv just applied to Union County College and will be starting in the Fall of 2010. Im hearing different things when it comes to the program as far as admissions are concerned. I do understand that you have to be invited but im confused as to if there is a waiting list or not. I could really use some help from someone who is already admitted into the program:)

The LPN program at UCC is not run by Trinitas/Muhlenberg instead by the college itself. You will have to take classes at the Plainfield Campus under courses PNU... I know of one student who successfully passed her NCLEX-PN after finishing at UCC... good luck

Hi Mya87 - congrats on starting the LPN program! I just registered at UCC for the RN program, but have since decided to do the LPN program since the RN program will take longer to do. I would love to have the experience working as a nurse and then go into the LPN-RN course, basically using this experience as a stepping stone. I only have to take the nursing classes since all of my pre-req's for the the LPN courses have been completed (thank God!) I really want to know what to expect from this program. I am so excited to start and would really appreciate a "heads up" so I can know what I am getting into. I already reached out to Ms. Castaldi, but I have not heard anything back as of yet. Any info you provide will be appreciated!
Good luck with the program!
