Hi guys!
I'm new here so please forgive me if i screw up any rules :). I'm a 2nd year nursing student in a BSN program in Hungary. I'm an international student and don't intend to work in Hungary after graduation.I'm hoping to work in the Us, Uk or Canada. I'm looking for internship programs that will boost my CV and more importantly, give me the needed work experience and improve my all round knowledge and practical skills . I've done a lot of research for internships in the US and the UK but I can't seem to find anything concrete. I would really appreciate any info I can get. I'm also open to working in other European countries.I'm not very picky on where exactly, I just need some work experience to keep me motivated and educated. Thanks for your help in advance!
P.S: I'm not looking for a paid internship, I would be happy just shadowing other nurses and of course getting to practice a little ( or a lot).

Things to be aware of
UK requires 12 months Full time work experience or part time equivalent. Not aware of many internship opportunities
Canada hard to find employer willing to go the work permit route especially with many Canadian nurses struggling for work and nursing no longer on the Federal Skilled List
US is under retrogression and depending on where you was born will depend on how long it will take to get a immigrant visa and if work visa generally experience is preferred. Internship in the US generally goes to local people and more than often is obtained through networking or working there as a student. Also huge amount of applicants for very few places
Thanks for the reply. Wow, so what should I do? I was thinking along the lines of improving my chances of getting hired after graduation, seeing as I am not a citizen of any of those countries and I don't currently study there. Do you have any ideas as to what my options are at this point?

You mean internship as early as now (your 2nd year BSN) or after your studies?
I suggest you focus on your studies for now. It is very hard to find internships for international students especially in the nursing field as you need to meet local requirements as well.
You can start by finding internships or volunteer works there in your local place.
