While waiting for WGU to reopen enrollment for NC students, I took a chance and applied to UNC Wilmington on 1/18 on 2/1 I received an acceptance letter! Now I'm a little overwhelmed since the program starts 3/7.
Does anyone have any experience with UNC-W, they are willing to share?
Or anyone accepted for the second Spring session?

Finished there in May 2015 LOVED it!! I too started in the Mar session. I already had a BS, so I was lucky and did not have to take a tone of classes: just the minimum 31 hours required, which I did in one calendar year.
The only thing that I wasn't 100% on board with was that they use TA (or "coaches") from a service that provides them. Most are Ph.D candidates and it is a way for them to work from home. I had one on the West coast so emails would come really late. Some were just plain weird.
I liked the professors, they were helpful and approachable.
I am a NC resident so it costs me very little. Also, after your first 2 sessions or so, if you have great grades, ask about getting some scholarship $$ They have some money available that is not really published. I got 3K for having a GPA >3.75. I didn't even ask for it!!
Great program, I thought. Anything else? I will be happy to share.
Awesome, glad to hear some good reviews. I didn't realize they didn't audit transcripts until after acceptance. So I am currently waiting to see how many, if any additional classes I will need. I'm a little concerned about my foreign language class, but should know something soon. I applied on a whim, so I didn't research too much about the school. I'm just so overwhelmed that I'll be starting in a few weeks!!
Thank you so much for the response!
They have a special Spanish for Healthcare providers that they offer online. Truth-hard as hell but all I had to do was pass it. Lot of info in a short time. Only thing I didn't like

So nice to hear positive things! I am applying for the Summer 2 session and also have a BS (from UNCW actually!) so hopefully I just need the 31 credits as well!
Oops just realized I commented something similar on a post of yours on another UNCW thread!
