UNC MSN Fall 2015

Has anyone received word on admission to UNC-Chapel Hill's MSN programs for Fall 2015? I understand notifications may not be made until May, but I would love to hear from anyone who has heard anything at all. This wait seems like it will never end. Thanks!

Yeah, I was just reading another thread and three different people had heard that we wouldn't receive decisions until May. I guess we're not Merit scholars or we would already know. :) It is a long time to wait for such future altering news! I guess I can postpone stalking my mailman until May. Hang in there! Only one more month...hopefully :)

I applied to the PMHNP program for 2015. I was hoping to still find out by April 1, even though I saw on website, it will not be until May. I did hear that we would be notified via mail first.

I received an email this past week asking to verify my experience so I assume this means they are reviewing apps. I for one am ready to know! From other forums I've read it sounds like they didn't notify people until first/second week of May last year. Stay in touch!

Hello and good luck everyone. I received my acceptance via email on March the 4th. I applied for FNP. Not sure what others applied for. Hope this helps.

Congratulations! Were you accepted into the MSN or the DNP program? Do you remember what email address sent the notification? (I keep checking my spam folder daily for fear the notification will be routed there incorrectly.)

I just called the college of nursing at UNC and they stated that PhD and DNP students had been notified already. Master's level applicants will receive notification via email and snail mail "by May 1st".

Hi! I also applied for the MSN program at UNC. I guess we have 2-3 weeks left to wait, but the anxiety has finally hit me... Good luck everyone!

Someone from another post said they received an email this morning. And was accepted! I believe they were pediatric track. Keeping fingers crossed for everyone!
