Thank you guys so much for your feedback! I SO appreciate it😊I have made so far a B in Psych in my undergrad an A in Micro and I am currently in anatomy and physiology 1 and so far I have an A. Second test is tomorrow and I am very confident that I will do well. The only thing I'm worried about is statistics my second test is Thursday so wish me luck! I will be working on my volunteer experience until application time in October. Can you guys update us on how things are going which the program starts!😊also an idea of what you have to study prior to the start😊thanks so much!!!

Absolutely! I try to help in any way possible. Definitely get volunteer experience!! I volunteer 3 times a week at my local hospital in the OB department. UNC is all about giving back to the community, so that will definitely increase your chances of admittance! Also, continue to do great in your courses! Don't worry about Stats so much, all you need is a C. While I understand that you want to make a great grade, definitely put more focus into A&P and the other science courses. I will do my best to let you know how things are going when I start!

To prepare for nursing school I have been trying to read a few books that were recommended on other pages (e.g. Fundamentals of Nursing, Pathophysiology, etc.) I have only read through the first few chapters in each because of my work load, but if you could start that early, you would be in great shape!

Good luck on your test! I wish you the best!

One more question...I was going to go to the information session at the end of this month, should I pair up with an advisor? Did any of you do that for a little guidance?

I went to one, but I didn't schedule a meeting to talk with them. Instead, I just talked with one right after the session. They get very busy at that time, so if you want more than 5 minutes with them then you may want to set up a meeting. Hope that helps!

Awesome thank you!!😊

Well I got accepted to unc bsn for this may. I had 3.9 undergrad and 3.5 for prereq science courses. I have zero volunteer or medical experience. Surprised i got in.

So this semester I did get a C in statistics😌but I got an A in A&P1 so I am thankful for that. It did drop my gpa from 3.8 to 3.3 but I'm hoping that I can bring that back up with psychology and A&P2. UNC let me know recently that I have to take psychology again because it was 4 months too old. I thought that was a bit ridiculous when I minored in psychology and took harder classes all the way up until I graduated but they want me to take the basic one again lol whatever I guess...it allows me to now make an A instead of the B I had in college and an A in A&P 2 hopefully! Science comes easier to me rather than math so neither one of the classes worry me. So hopefully if I ace all science classes that can bring my gpa back up! Applying in October! Wish me luck!!😊

Waiting to hear next month!!! Excited and nervous![emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]

Only a few more weeks guys!!![emoji16][emoji16]

We might even hear this week!! It looks like last year people got letters during the first week of March, so I think it's possible. I can't wait!

Omg that would be awesome! I just was going off of what I saw on a girls Instagram post of her letter lol it said March 18th[emoji4]years ago.
