  1. Is anyone a current student in the BSN program at Watts College of Nursing? I would love to get a copy of the course schedules if so. I have been accepted to start in the fall. Thank you!
  2. Try this website: https://pid.itsapps.unc.edu/PIDCreate/jsp/wmp.jsp
  3. I got it too and just tried, same problem. Also the letter didn't say when we had to respond by or how much the deposit is.
  4. No I haven't gotten anything. Do you think they'll send it now or once the admissions office finalizes the formal offer?
  5. I'm still waiting also. I asked them in October about the timeline and this is what they said: We try and get those out as soon as we can in December but it tends to be the second week in December
  6. Hi there. I'm not sure of the details of the wait list since I was just asking her to get an idea for the spring application. My impression is that as of now people have gotten off the wait list with a 159. We didn't discuss whether they're still pulling from the wait list, but I'd imagine if someone drops out they'll still do it. That's pretty much all I know. But she kindly looked over my application and added up the points for me. Congrats JPeters and CN for already turning yours in!
  7. I'm sure someone has already posted the fall cutoff numbers, but I just wanted to add an update. I met with Ms. Watkins recently to turn in my application, and she said that the fall cutoff was 162, and people got off the waitlist with 159. Of course, the numbers may be a bit lower for those of us planning a spring start because fewer people tend to apply then. Has anyone else turned in their application?
  8. CN_2bRN919, I'm applying for the spring term. I'm planning to take the intro to sociology CLEP, which will get me the points as if I'd taken the class and earned a B. I figure that's a lot cheaper than actually taking the class, and I think it'll be enough points. Have you heard any updated info about how many points are needed for spring? I'm aiming for to get over 160. That's crazy about the Hep B titer -- now I'm wondering if I should get one too since I'm about to start a hospital job. Kinda scary...
  9. Looks like you still get some money but not the full amount for 11 credits: CFNC - Paying For College. I would email them and double check though if you have any questions - I recently found out that I got FELS and they were responsive when I emailed them with questions.
  10. Hi CN_2bRN919, Sorry for the delay, I've been out of town and now starting a new job. The TEAS wasn't too bad. I got 88%, which I think was because I spent extra time studying how to do the math problems. I did horribly on the science though even though I just took both A&Ps! I think I should've reviewed more basic stuff about atoms. They told me the TEAS will be changing (in August I think?), so you can use a calculator. I imagine this will change the types of problems, since they won't really test manual calculations.
  11. Thanks, CN_2bRN919! I'm heading out of town right afterwards so that's good to know. Can't wait to get it out of the way!
  12. Anyone else taking the TEAS tomorrow? I'm hoping it won't be too bad. Does anyone know if it's possible to finish early, or do you have to stay until everyone is finished?
  13. If anyone is looking to get a copy of the McKinley A&P textbook, send me a PM. I have a looseleaf one that's basically brand new.
